VIRONAS NTOLAS QUARTET

The music of the group is based on original compositions that serve as a starting point for an open-ended and constantly evolving creative process. At the core of the group’s approach are improvisation, the embrace of the unpredictable musical moment as a creative force, and the importance of trust and interaction among its members. Through this perspective, the compositions take on a new form with each performance, leading to different sonic journeys that draw from the broader modal music tradition, jazz, contemporary improvised music, and the sounds that surround us.
